From the Board

President's Message

Good morning. It’s August and half the summer is gone already. The Holidays will be here soon. Well, not so soon, but they will be here before you know it. During the end of summer, we need to watch out for the hurricanes that may or may not visit with us. If one is coming our way we will all be notified by TV etc. There is something else you can do that is proactive on your part and not have to wait for someone else to tell you what is happening. What I am referring to is downloading an app to your phone that will give you weather 24/7. This way you can decide what is going on and prepared on your own. There are many to choose from. The one that I use is called “MyRadar”.  These apps are available for both the Android and the iPhone.

As far as the new classes are concerned Mandy’s “NEW” Paint class is on Thursday morning, check the schedule for the time. She is doing a three-week program and you will enjoy every minute of the class. It’s all about graphics and is very colorful.

My Publisher class was postponed from August to September. We will start the first week in September and go for three weeks. Check the schedule for the correct time.

Hope you’re having a good time at the Computer Club this year. Enjoy and see you in class.

Have a great day / week/ month.
